Delete your JibberJabber account

1. Open JibberJabber and go to the You tab.
2. Tap the settings button, then Delete Account.
3. Type DELETE to confirm.

You're signed out straight away and the deletion starts.

Email hello@jibberjabber.live from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my JibberJabber account". If you signed in with Apple, Google or Discord, include your username too. We confirm by email and delete the account within 30 days.

In the app you can delete any of these yourself, at any time:

• Calendar events and to-do lists: open one and choose Delete.
• Photos, documents and voice notes on an event: long-press the attachment, then Remove.
• Memories: open the memory on your profile and choose Delete.
• Google or Outlook calendar connections: disconnect them in settings, which removes their access.

For anything else, such as messages you sent, email hello@jibberjabber.live from your account's email address and say what you'd like removed. We do it within 30 days and keep your account.

Your profile, calendar events and to-do lists, event notes and attachments, memories, AI assistant (Bells) conversations, follows, notifications, reactions and connected calendar links (Google, Outlook) are erased within 30 days.

Messages you sent stay visible to the people you sent them to, so their conversations stay whole, but your name and profile link are removed from them.

• Payment and ticket records: up to 7 years, as tax and accounting law requires.
• Safety records (reports, moderation actions, abuse investigations): as long as needed to protect users.
• Anything under an active legal hold: as long as the law requires.
• Anonymised totals that can no longer identify you, used for analytics.
